Training Committee

Responsibility for the training needs and standards required by the industry and the implementation of ConstructionSkills Strategic Objectives lies with the Training Committee.

It recommends annually to the Board:

• training development
• training implementation
• careers and training promotions programmes

It monitors:

• recognised qualifications and schemes for recording training achievements
• prevocational education training development and implementation

It considers:

• the promotion of construction careers
• the policy for grant aid and
• the annual CITB-ConstructionSkills Grants Scheme.
