Case Study: Share Apprenticeships

In April 2008 ConstructionSkills in Wales launched a Shared Apprenticeship pilot scheme in collaboration with the Carmarthenshire Construction Training Association Ltd (CCTAL), Coleg Sir Gâr, Carmarthenshire County Council and the Welsh Assembly Government.

This innovative training initiative helps construction companies work in partnership to address the industry’s skills shortfall and offers apprentices the opportunity to gain a wider range of experience and skills by completing their apprenticeships with a number of different construction companies.
