Qualifications Developments for September 2012

At Cskills Awards we want to keep you up-to-date with latest qualification developments expected to be launched 1 September 2012, and are pleased to announce the following new qualifications:
• Level 1 NVQ Certificate in Wall and Floor Tiling
• Level 1 Certificate or Diploma in Wall and Floor Tiling – this training qualification will be confirmed as either a Certificate or a Diploma prior to launch
• Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Insulation and Building Treatments (Construction) – External Wall Insulation (Finisher)
• Level 2 Diploma in Insulation and Building Treatments (Construction) – External Wall Insulation
• Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Insulation and Building Treatments (Construction) – External Wall Insulation (Boarder/Finisher)
• Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Heritage Skills (Construction) – Façade Preservation

The qualifications listed below will be amended to update them for launch:
• QUA887 - Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Formwork Occupations (Construction)
• QUA888 - Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Formwork Occupations (Construction)
• QUA896 - Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Insulation and Building Treatments (Construction) – External Wall Insulation

The following two qualifications will remain available for you to register your learners on, up to and including 31 August 2012. As of 1 September 2012, your learners will be registered onto one of the two replacement qualifications:
• QUL864 - Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Specialist Concrete Occupations (Construction) – Background Preparation and Profiling
will be replaced with
• Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Specialist Concrete Occupations (Construction) – Background Preparation and Profiling

• DIP012 - Level 2 Diploma in Formworking
will be replaced with
• Level 2 Diploma in Formwork (Construction)

Further detailed information on all of the qualification changes listed above will be available prior to launch, including Guided Learning Hours (GLH), credit values and qualification codes. Keep your eye out for future editions of E-news and Customer News, and your customer co-ordinator will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.
