Preparing for the test

There's no need to worry about your test as long as you are prepared for it. There is no substitute for good health and safety training. If you have been trained, have experience and good health and safety knowledge you may find that you only need to practice the test questions. Those with less experience may find that more intensive preparation would be better, such as a one day course. There are a range of publications and courses available to help you train and revise for the test. Just use the dropdown box to find out which one is suitable for you, and how to purchase them. Please note: The Test question bank has been revised. It is important to make sure you have the correct revision materials. If you are taking the test from 2 April onwards you will need to ensure you use either: Edition 8 The 2007 Question book The 2007 CD-ROM Edition 2 - Professionally Qualified Person (PQP) 2007 Question book The 2007 networkable DVD The new materials will be available to order from mid February and will replace all previous revision materials, which will not be suitable after the end of March.
