A40 - Investors in People
While training individuals in your workplace is essential, it's important to bear in mind how you can improve your business as a whole. We can help you develop and deliver a Training and Development Plan and guide you towards Investors in People (IiP) achievement.
IiP is a practical tool which assists in finding the most efficient and effective way of developing your business through your employees. It aims to match their abilities and motivations with your business needs, for the benefit of everyone.
Notice regarding Investors In People grant changes for 2009/2010
The IiP grant has been withdrawn from 1st August 2009. You need to be aware that you will only be entitled to receive the £4,000 achievement grant (or £1,000 where appropriate) if you made a commitment to IiP and received payment of the £1,000 commitment grant on or before 1st April 2009.
If you have made the commitment, and been paid grant on or before 1st April 2009 in any Grants Scheme, you will have until 31st July 2010 to achieve the IiP standard and until the 31st October 2010 to claim the £4,000 achievement grant.
If you still wish to make a commitment to IiP after 1st April 2009, you can still do so, but you will only be entitled to the £1,000 commitment grant if you completed this before 1st August 2009 and you claim the grant before 31st October 2009. In these instances no achievement grant of £4,000 will be payable.
