Grant for short duration off-the-job training

Short Duration training grants are for construction-related occupations only and cover a limited number of courses. Short Duration training can be claimed for whole or half-day courses. Employers can claim up to a maximum of of £5,000 within the 2009/2010 grant year. Employers wishing to claim over this threshold should consider setting up a Training and Development Plan.
