The Grants Scheme Working Party

The Grants Scheme Working Party (GSWP) is formed of employer and federation representatives, who aim to represent the views of all sizes of employers and all sectors of the construction industry fairly.

The following groups and federations are represented:

• Civil Engineering Contractors Association (CECA)
• Construction Plant Hire Association (CPA)
• EU Skills
• Federation of Master Builders (FMB)
• Hire Association Europe (HAE)
• Home Builders Federation (HBF)
• National Association of Shopfitters (NAS)
• National Federation of Builders (NFB)
• National Specialist Contractors' Council (NSCC)
• Scottish Building Federation (SBF)
• UK Contractors Group (UKCG)
• Union of Construction, Allied Trades and Technicians (UCATT)

The GSWP:

• monitors the take-up of the Grants Scheme
• reviews grant provision
• considers amendments to the Grants Scheme and recommends changes to the Training Committee
• considers appeals against staff interpretation of the Grants Scheme
