Paying by Direct Debit

CITB‑ConstructionSkills offers all employers the opportunity of paying their Levy Assessment by up to 10 monthly Direct Debit Instalments. All you need do to qualify is:

1. complete your 2009 CITB‑ConstructionSkills Levy Return and return to ConstructionSkills, Levy & Grant Shared Services, Bircham Newton,  King's Lynn Norfolk, PE31 6RH, or alternatively complete your Levy Return online at www.citb-levygrant.co.uk/
    
   And
2. complete a Direct Debit Mandate which you will need to print off, complete and return to ConstructionSkills, Levy & Grant Shared Services, Bircham Newton, King's Lynn Norfolk, PE31 6RH, or alternatively call us on 0300 456 7668 to find out if we can set up your Direct Debit Instalment arrangement over the telephone.

To qualify for the full 10 monthly instalments, CITB‑ConstructionSkills must receive your completed Direct Debit Mandate and Levy Return by the 4 March 2010. Late submissions will result in fewer instalments being offered.

CITB‑ConstructionSkills makes no charge for this service and you will receive notice of how much is payable before any monies are collected from your bank. After you have agreed to pay by Direct Debit Instalments, we will do the rest for you. It's as simple as that!

When you have done this and the 2009 Levy has been assessed, you will receive your combined 2009 Levy Assessment Notice and Direct Debit Advance Notice at least 10 days prior to the first payment being taken from your bank account. This document will show you the amount of Levy you owe and confirm the payment dates and amounts of the instalment arrangement.

However, please note we can only continue to allow Direct Debit Instalment arrangements on Levy Assessments based on completed Levy Returns. As long as you complete your Levy Returns each year, the arrangement will remain in place and there is nothing more for you to do.And you won’t need to cancel the arrangement with your bank at any time.
