CPCS Industry Meetings
CPCS is running its next series of meetings with employers and training providers over the summer months. This year’s meetings will focus on the CPCS Scheme Review. A summary of the feedback we have received so far around the changes will be presented, and those in attendance will be given the opportunity to raise further comments. These meetings are essential to the future development of the CPCS scheme – enabling the plant industry to influence the CPCS management committee and CPCS policy.
Chaired by the CPCS chairman or vice chairman, the meetings will also be attended by management committee members and senior staff who administer the scheme. The key topic of discussion will be to present the feedback from industry to date on the scheme proposals
Trevor Gamble, Chairman of CPCS, commented:
“We want genuine engagement with anyone who interacts in some shape or form with CPCS. This means everyone will have their chance to comment on our proposals for change. A successful outcome will see a scheme that works well for industry – industry has always let us know when something doesn’t work well, and I hope this consultation - and subsequent implementation of the changes - will see a robust but much simpler scheme in place.”
Events are free – call CPCS 01485 577887 or email
