 SkillBuild needs your support to ensure Dry Walling and your best trainees are seen as World Class.

WorldSkills is the highlight of the international skills calendar. It will be hosted in London in 2011 and SkillBuild is the feeder competition to gain access to the Team UK squad. 

This year, Plastering and Dry Walling was included as a demonstration event at the Calgary WorldSkills competition.  we're looking for trainees that are the best in their trade.

Enter your Dry Walling trainees to the SkillBuild regional heats below for their opportunity to represent Britain at WorldSkills.

To qualify for the WorldSkills squad, trainees need to be born on or after 01/01/1989.

*The aim of the Final is to help determine potential WorldSkills squad candidates.  This competition may be rescheduled to the 8-10 Sept at Coleg Menai, Wales if there are not enough trainees who meet the WorldSkills age criteria.

Entry Rules

  • Entry forms must be received by 1 December 2009.
  • There is no age limit for applicants, however to be eligible for WorldSkills 2011 the trainee must be born on or after 01/01/1989.
  • All entrants must be studying for a recognised qualification and be employed
