Construction Showcase at SkillBuild Final

During the SkillBuild National Final, South Lanarkshire College and ConstructionSkills are holding a Construction Showcase event. This will give visitors the chance to learn more about construction and the different routes available to get into the industry.

Activities will include:

• A walk around tour of a Low Carbon House – showing modern methods of construction.
• Taster sessions for different trades – may include plastering and carpentry although this will be confirmed nearer the time.
• Access to careers advisers, successful past students and employers via an exhibitor area.

You may also be able to view the some of the SkillBuild finalists completing their test pieces. These will include the best trainees from across the UK in a number of different trades. Could you be taking part in the future?
