The Diploma in C&BE Partnership:

- supports the Principle Learning and Project elements of the Diploma as qualifications in their own right, as we know they are valued and supported by industry;
- is committed to ensuring the construction and the built environment curriculum is always relevant, and we will work with partners and awarding bodies to ensure continuous improvement;
- believes that the construction and the built environment curriculum is best delivered through high-quality, unit-based qualifications and will continue to work with our partners to maintain and enhance them;
- welcomes organisations such as Free Schools and University Technical Colleges who are interested in developing construction and the built environment provision, and looks forward to working with them;
- will draw on our collective experiences and achievements and continue to encourage and promote work experience and employer engagement, which is vital to the success of education and training
The experience of developing the Diploma in C&BE has been invaluable, and we are happy to share our achievements and successes with others.

Supporting schools, colleges and consortia from September 2011
Employers and other partners in the construction and built environment sectors continue to value the Diploma in C&BE as a worthwhile and respected qualification. We want to continue to offer support to those schools, colleges and consortia that will be continuing to offer the Diploma to students from September 2011. In order to target our efforts we need to ensure that we establish an accurate list of lead contacts. We will therefore be arranging to circulate an email to our known delivery partners in order to update our information. We realise that this is an extremely busy time for you but if you could help us by ensuring that we have up-to-date contact details that would be greatly appreciated. If you would like to get in touch direct to confirm that you will be offering the Diploma in C&BE this September please email Lourdes Goodman at:
