ACAS (Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service)

ACAS is an independent body with statutory duties. It provides information, advice and training, and works with employers and employees to solve problems and improve performance in the workplace.

Equality Direct - Equality Direct is a confidential equality advice service for small businesses run by ACAS.

Employers Forum on Disability

Employers' Forum on Disability is the world's leading employers’ organisation focused on disability as it affects business.

Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC)

EHRC have a statutory remit to promote and monitor human rights; and to protect, enforce and promote equality across the seven protected characteristics (protected grounds) - age, disability, gender, race, religion and belief, sexual orientation and gender reassignment.

Stonewall

Stonewall is Britain’s leading lesbian, gay and bisexual charity, working for equality. In the workplace they focus on tackling discrimination and their diversity champions programme supports employers in creating an inclusive workplace, enabling their LGB staff to perform at their best. In Scotland Stonewall also support transgender people.

The Age and Employment Network (TAEN)

The Age and Employment Network works to promote an effective labour market that serves the needs of people in mid and later life, employers and the economy.

The UKRC

The UKRC is the UK's lead organisation for the provision of advice, services and policy consultation regarding the under-representation of women in science, engineering, technology and the built environment (SET).

Constructing Equality

Constructing Equality is a leading organisation for construction-specific equality and diversity training and consulting. They produce free monthly e-newsletters promoting construction specific equality and diversity news on request.

Access to Work

Access to Work provides practical help at work. It can help you if your health or disability affects the way you do your job, giving you and your employer advice and support with extra costs which may arise because of your needs.
