What do you do day-to-day?
I work all over the country putting up different types of scaffolding systems that are used for roofing, cleaning stonework etc. You get a great view from a 200 foot high scaffold!

Good bits about your job?
I enjoy the variety of work and the places I go to. Scaffolding's all about working as part of a team - and the pay's good too.

Why did you choose this career?
I wanted a real challenge! My parents encouraged me as they knew a few scaffolders and I did a taster course at college.

What does the future hold?
I would like to do off-shore work on oil rigs and run my own business.
