What do you do day-to-day?
Every day is different but I normally use technology, such as CAD, to measure quantities from drawings, measure and check off work completed on site and make sure we get the 'best value for money'. We also have regular meetings with Company Directors to assess progress of developments and staff.

Good bits about the job?
The variety of work has been excellent. Every day is different and brings new challenges. I really enjoy working with and meeting lots of different types of people, inside and outside the office environment. There is also the opportunity to work as part of a team and independently.

Why did you choose your career?
The variety of jobs involved and the excellent career prospects.

What does the future hold?
Ideally, I would like to start a business of my own in the future.
