What do you do day-to-day?
I meet with clients, contractors and construction teams. In general we create design solutions drawn either by hand or by CAD (that's computer aided design).

What are the good bits about your job?
I love the creative side, and architecture allows you to do this as a profession, not just a hobby! I like creating buildings for people to live and work in, and being able to influence the built environment is very satisfying.

Why did you choose this career?
My uncle was a builder and I used to watch him on site which really helped me get an insight into the construction industry.
