Good bits about your job and training course?
I get to meet a variety of people and get to work in loads of different environments. Although I assess what needs to be done, I still get the opportunity to do hands-on practical work.

What do you do day-to-day?
Working with the quantity surveyor, I go out to assess potential jobs, deciding what needs to be done for the work to be completed properly, safely and effectively.

What advice would you give prospective students?
You need to work hard at the course, but it's worth it as the rewards do come when you start getting qualified. I found that already having some site knowledge was useful, but not necessary.
