What do you do day-to-day?
I manage and co-ordinate the team on site, monitor the construction programme and the costs associated with the project. I liaise between the client and the design team. There's a lot of interest in our site, so I need to address any issues raised by the public.

What advice would you give prospective students?
If you relish a challenge, then this is the career for you! You have to have confidence because you've got to make lots of decisions. I'd recommend work experience to get a feel for any job and the working environment.

Good bits about your job?
It's constantly changing, you never get two projects the same. I love the variety and working as part of the team. I get a real buzz leading up to handing the project over to the client.
