Good bits about the job?
The end result is spectacular, and no two jobs are the same. I've had to climb up to 400 feet before to place charges!

What do you do day-to-day?
I go to different sites, check on health and safety issues, make sure everyone is working properly, that the pre-weakening is done and that the job is running smoothly. Then we go and do our bit!

What advice would you give prospective students?
It's hard physical work but really interesting and a lot of fun.

Social aspects to your job?
I am the only woman on site, which is sometimes difficult because I am also in charge of the team. I know them all so well now and it works.
