A taster of life on site for university students

The award winning 'Constructionarium' provides a real taste of life on a construction site for engineering students.  A unique partnership between universities and industry, it is designed to give undergraduates the experience of working on and managing construction projects.

Projects include scaled down versions of major construction projects such as the Millau Cable bridge and the London Gherkin.

In 2007 over 600 students took part from a range of universities and companies took part - see below.

Venue - Constructionarium takes place at a purpose built site at the National Construction College, Bircham Newton in Norfolk.
